Prance - Performing dance

Working with the famed Jū Costello (of the Spanish El Costello dance family and troupe), Molly has pioneered the dance genre of Prance.

Combining music with performance, Prance brings a new slant to the traditional dance platforms of the 20th century and earlier. Drawing upon ethic themes, music is fused with movement, forming a stunning and thought-provoking performance. The show is heightened by the use of light natural fabrics that float and hang in the air.

Prance sees the performers move lightly across the dance floor, often rising in low-level acrobatic movements involving swings, lines and low-wires.

Based on the success of the rapid evolution of this dance genre, Molly and Ju launched a major European programme and are seeking sponsors to help bring the Prance experience to a wider audience.

Keep an eye out on the Classic FM TV channel on Sky for their forthcoming video.
